Phonebook Recycling Program

The 19th annual telephone directory recycling campaign will kick off on Monday, August 16th, as the new Consolidated Communications Phone Books are being delivered. Consolidated Communications, The City of Lufkin Regional Recycling Center and Angelina Beautiful/Clean continually encourage area residents and businesses to recycle their old phone directories. Through September 24th, yellow recycling containers will be located in the parking lots of Brookshire Brothers Fresh Market on Chestnut, Brookshire Brothers Fresh Market on Gaslight in Lufkin, Brookshire Brothers in Diboll, Brookshire Brothers in Huntington, and beside the Consolidated Communications Business Office on First Street in Lufkin. Residents of Lufkin may also place the books in their blue curbside recycling container along with their newspapers.

The City of Diboll has been named Angelina Beautiful/Clean July Beautification Winner. The City of Diboll is recognized for achievement in helping to beautify Angelina County by landscaping, building improvement, architectural design, new construction or other means which enhances the beauty of our part of Texas.
